Farewell Sunday

Bryan's farewell went SO well!!  It is always stressful planning and preparing for such a big day and huge gathering, but we got it done and everything went smoothly.  Bryan gave the most amazing farewell talk on the Book of Mormon.  At the end he bore his testimony in word and then in music.....he played the piano.  He arranged the piece he played and put so much feeling into it.  It was such a parent payday for us and we couldn't have been more proud of our son.  So many helped to make this day possible.  We could never have done it without the help of our incredible family and friends and the best ward family ever!!

Missionary Photo Shoot

It took us a couple of tries and some begging, but we ended up with some awesome pictures.  Bryan was a trooper and let me take him out on two separate photo shoots....he knows how important pictures are to his Mama :)  He looks so good and so much like a missionary with his short hair.  I kinda miss the curls though!

Together in the Temple

I'm not sure anything can bring more joy than being in the House of the Lord as one of your children takes out their endowments and experiences the temple in its fullness.  Bryan has been dressing up in his suit for school every Friday for years and then heading for the temple after school.  He loves doing baptisms and has always felt such a strong desire to be inside the temple.  He was so prepared to go through for the first time and be filled with the spirit that can only be found within the walls of the House of the Lord.  We are so grateful that his loving grandparents could be there with us.  I'm sure Papa Rex was with him also.....Bryan is very special to him.  Families are Forever!!
